My CVS Deals week of 4/17-4/23

I started off with $10 in ECB (Extracare bucks) from last week's Airwick's purchases.

Transaction #1:
2 bags of Lay's --> sale price 2/$6 (earn 2 ECB)
1 Schick Intuition razor --> sale price 8.99 (earn 4 ECB)

Coupons used:
$0.55 coupon on 1 bag of Lays (I only had one because I used the other coupon wks ago)
$3.00 coupon on 1 Schick Intuition razor (like Schick on Facebook (FB)
$10 ECB

Cashier scanned my green bag tag

Total OOP (Out of Pocket) = $2.21
Earned total of $7 ECB ($2 ECB from Lay's, $4 ECB from Schick, and $1 ECB from green bag tag)

Transaction #2:
1 Easter grass --> price $0.99 (earn $0.99 ECB)
1 Paas egg decorating kit --> price 1.99 (earn 1.99 ECB)
1 Listerine pocket pak 72ct --> sale price 5/$5 ($1 each)
1 Reach floss --> sale price 5/$5 ($1 each)
1 Post Grape Nut Cereal --> clearance price 1.24
2 hand gel sanitizer packs --> clearance price 0.50

Coupons used:
$4 ECB
$2 ECB
$1 ECB

Total OOP (Out of Pocket) = $0.62
Earned total of $2.98 ECB ($.99 ECB from Easter grass and $1.99 ECB from Paas egg decorating kit)

Transaction #3:
1 travel size mirror with light --> clearance price 1.50

Coupons used:
$0.99 ECB

Total OOP (Out of Pocket) = $0.63

CVS Total after 3 transactions: $3.46 with $1.99 ECB remaining

  1. So CVS has a card like the "VIC card", piggly wiggly card, etc. to rack up ECB?

  2. Yeah, just go to your local CVS sign up for the ExtraCare card. Then after you get your card (which they will have in the store) go to cvs.com and register your card so you can get coupons sent to you in your email!! Oh and for every $50 you spend in beauty products, you will automatically receive $5 ECB (extrabucks). The difference between extrabucks and cash is that you can only use them at CVS! I will write a post for more info on CVS! Let me know if this helps!!
